Throughout the seasons and his exhibitions, Quiberon- invites his loyal admirers to rediscover the animal soul that resides in each of us.
For no one knows how to capture the true nature of animals like him.
It must be said that the artist, painter, sculptor, and visual artist is constantly searching for new techniques to uncover, at the heart of the beast, the distant humanity that connects us to them.
For nearly five years, Quiberon- has been working with a surprising material, both noble and of humble origin, both rich and yet so common; we are talking here about spider silk, with which he shapes and sculpts octopuses, sardines, crabs, chickens, and other sheep, and even sea spiders...
The improbable technique of mastering the organic material of arachnids belongs to him alone.
It is said to have been inspired by a dream, but today it is a truly fascinating reality, this colorful and mysterious aerial bestiary.
First wrapped around wire to create the roundness of the forms, the technique lends itself to a thousand other ways; it is evolutionary and still holds many surprises for us.
As a perpetual and tireless seeker of curiosity, Quiberon- creates a new medium, a new form of expression.
His highly personal work reflects an heightened inventiveness that is sometimes lacking these days. He takes us on detours, those paths that are not yet paved, and it feels refreshing
